Each petal is composed of two sets of spatial inverted triangular three-dimensional trusses, both of which share an upper chord and are connected by the lower chord of the ring truss. The whole roof is connected into an integral spatial steel structure. 6 roof ring trusses are installed in total, the bottom end is spatial inverted triangular three-dimensional trusses, the rest are plane trusses, perpendicular to the ground.
The upper steel structure moves the roof
The open and closed mobile roof consists of eight large overhanging petals. Open by plane rotation 45°, cover the whole site when closed. The radial length and width of the single-piece moving roof are 45m and 25m respectively. In the closed state, the roof is cantilever 30m towards the center of the circle.
The lower chord of the moving roof forms a plane, while the upper chord forms a pear-shaped surface, which is composed of a main truss shaped like petals along the radial direction and a secondary truss in the circular direction, and the upper chord cross supports are arranged to improve the stiffness and integrity of the moving roof.
