Chenglingji Port is located at the mouth of the Dongting Lake and into the Yangtze River. It is an important dry bulk cargo hub with combined water and rail transportation, water-to-water transfer, and direct branch to branch. Due to a long history, the facilities in the port area are old, the internal environment is dirty and messy, and the dust pollution problem of the cargo yard is outstanding, which has an impact on the water quality of the Yangtze River in the port.
The bulk cargo shed is 470 meters long, 110 meters wide, and 46.5 meters high. It is the largest and highest single-span bulk cargo silo of the same type in the province. It is also the first giant "capsule" shaped bulk cargo warehouse in the Yangtze River Basin , Single span spans 110 meters. The whole structure adopts space grid system, which has stable structure and convenient installation.
After the project is completed, the ships arriving at the port unload the ship from the dock, and the goods can be transported through the belt conveyor to the fully enclosed greenhouse, and then loaded and unloaded onto the train through the stacker and reclaimer. The bulk cargo shed is the main project of the reconstruction project, and will fully cover the cargo yard to effectively solve the problem of dust pollution in the cargo yard.
