Qingyuan Olympic Sports Center Swimming Hall Gymnasium

Construction of the swimming pool and gymnasium of Qingyuan Olympic Sports Center started in September 2019. It is the venue for the 16th Guangdong Provincial Games in 2022. The steel structure is about 6,000 tons. The stadium project of Qingyuan Olympic Sports Center is a key project of Qingyuan City and Guangdong Province. It has the characteristics of large amount of work, tight schedule and difficult construction. The construction content mainly includes a 30,000-seat stadium, a 9,000-seat gymnasium and a 2,000-seat swimming pool. The project covers an area of 640,000 square meters, of which 290,000 square meters are occupied by waters, roads, and public green spaces. The planned construction area is 350,000 square meters and the total construction area is 130,000 square meters.

The main truss of the stadium roof steel structure is a willow-shaped inverted triangular space tube truss，totally ten trusses, a maximum span of 84 meters, and a single truss weight of 118 tons. The construction method of "ground modular assembly and high-altitude modular lifting" is adopted construction.
