On May 16, 2020, the Beijing Section Shunyi West Railway Station completed the construction of the roof structure ,and started the construction of the metal roof panel. The roof structure, adopting bolted ball space structure, has an area of about 3000 square meters. The design concept of Shunyi West Railway Station is "the eye of the airport".
The Shunyi West Railway Station is designed as a "big-eyed" shape, which is a "super-elevated station building" with a scale of 2 sets of 4 lines, and 2 side-mounted platforms. The total area is nearly 3000 square meters.
